With a background that spans directing, cinematography, editing, and sound, James brings both technical expertise and creative leadership to every production. His calm presence on set, deep listening skills, and ability to draw powerful narratives from real-world moments have made him a trusted partner for clients across the country.

James has filmed and interviewed a broad spectrum of people—from Prime Ministers and CEOs to war veterans, athletes, and Nobel laureates. He has led the creative development and production of hundreds of films for state and federal government agencies, major corporates, and grassroots community organisations.

His extensive understanding of visual storytelling is matched by expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut X, and a mastery of digital camera and sound systems.
